Fire crews were present at the scene of a blaze Sunday afternoon in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood. Crews responded to calls of a house fire on the 1100 block of Cameron Street at around 2 p.m. Sunday. In a post to social media, the Regina Fire and Protective Services (RFPS) noted that it had to access the site from an alley due to construction in the area. According to the service, smoke was showing upon the crew’s arrival. The flames were under control within 10 minutes. As of 2:13 p.m., fire crews were working on finishing savage and overhaul. Later in the day, RFPS said its members responded to a grass fire just outside of city limits. The service has two specialized units in addition to a water tanker for those types of calls. No injuries were reported due to the incident.
