A third person has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in relation to a homicide that occurred earlier this month. According to a release from the Regina Police Service (RPS), officers responded to a call for service around 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 13 at the 100 block of College Avenue. Upon their arrival, the officers discovered a man’s body. Officers secured the area, requested additional services and began an investigation with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. The death was deemed to be a homicide on Oct. 15 with the investigation leading to second-degree murder charges for two people. The third person charged with second-degree murder is Marshall Cote, 20, who made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court on Monday morning. On Oct. 23, Toni Moffatt, 22, and Andre Smith, 24, made their first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court.
