A 44-year-old from Regina is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 11. Saskatchewan RCMP said it happened Saturday around noon near the town of Craik, about 119 kilometres northwest of Regina. Investigators determined a car and SUV had collided. The victim was driving the car. According to a Monday news release, the 44-year-old was declared dead at the scene and their family has been notified. A passenger in the car was taken to hospital by EMS along with the driver of the SUV. Both had injuries described as non-life threatening. Northbound lanes for Highway 11 were temporarily closed but have since been reopened. Sask. RCMP are investigating the crash with the help of a collision reconstructionist.
