One person has died following a collision near Grenfell, Sask. earlier this week. Broadview RCMP received a report of a collision on the 616 Grid around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, according to an update from Saskatchewan RCMP on Friday. RCMP determined a minivan and an SUV collided. The sole passenger in the SUV, a 76-year-old woman from the Broadview area, was taken to hospital where she later died. RCMP say her family has been notified. The driver of the SUV and the driver of the minivan were both taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist, as well as Broadview and Moosomin RCMP continue to investigate. Grenfell is located about 126 kilometres east of Regina.
